Kashmiri Print Velvet Fabric
Rich Kashmiri-style printed velvet — digital & disperse prints, optional glitter — for cushions, décor and apparel.
Kashmiri print velvet fabric is a polyester velvet printed with Kashmiri, paisley and floral motifs by digital or disperse printing, some designs with glitter or foil accents. It is about 56-58 inches wide with a soft, dense pile. Shailesh Velvet Industries (Kedarnath Velvet) supplies it to cushion and home-decor makers, curtain makers, ethnic-wear brands, wholesalers and importers.
Printing and specifications
The velvet is printed two ways: digital printing for fine, photographic detail, and disperse printing, which sublimates dye into the pile for deeper, wash-stable colour. Glitter and foil accents are added on selected designs. The base is a medium-heavy polyester velvet, roughly 200-280 gsm, printed to the buyer's motif and colours.
Uses and ordering
Kashmiri print velvet is used for cushion covers, curtains, table runners and other furnishings, and for kurtis, jackets and dupattas. We supply by the than or the metre, print custom designs, and match custom colours. Sampling is available, azo-free dyed grounds on request, and MOQs negotiable. As a GST-registered, IEC-holding manufacturer with around 40 years in velvet, we ship pan-India and export.

Kashmiri Print Velvet — frequently asked questions
How is Kashmiri print velvet printed?
By two methods: digital printing for fine detail, and disperse printing, which sublimates dye into the pile for deeper, wash-stable colour. Glitter or foil accents are added on selected designs.
Can it be used for both cushions and clothing?
Yes. The medium-heavy velvet works for cushions, curtains and furnishings, and also for kurtis, jackets and dupattas, so one design can serve home-textile and ethnic-wear ranges.
Do you print custom designs and what is the MOQ?
Yes. We print your artwork and match custom colours, adding glitter or foil if needed. Minimum order quantity is negotiable and depends on design and colour count. Samples are available.
Are the glitter and foil finishes durable?
They are design accents best suited to low-abrasion use like cushions, curtains and occasion wear, not heavy daily washing. Ask for a sample to test before ordering.
Do you supply printed velvet for export?
Yes. We ship to buyers overseas and classify the fabric under HSN 6001 (pile fabrics) for customs and billing, rolled and wrapped to protect the print.
