What we export

Our range covers brasso (burnout) velvet on a chiffon base, knitted two-way stretch and lycra velvet, Kashmiri and digital print velvet, micro velvet, flock velvet, upholstery velvet, 100% cotton velvet, viscose (rayon) velvet, and dyeable RFD velvet supplied undyed. Fur, foil-print and sequinned fancy fabrics run alongside the velvet lines. Widths run from about 42 to 64 inches depending on the quality, with weights from light dress-weight pile up to heavy furnishing cloth. Shades are matched to a physical swatch or a Pantone reference, and embossed, crushed and printed finishes are available on suitable bases.

How an order moves from enquiry to bulk

Send the quality, width, weight, shade and quantity you need, or send a swatch and we will match it. We reply with what we can run, the price on your chosen Incoterm and the packing you can expect. Next comes sampling: a hanger or cut length for hand-feel, and lab-dips for shade approval. Nothing goes into bulk production until you sign off the sample and the shade. Bulk is then produced, checked and packed for despatch, and we share photographs and packing details before the consignment leaves.

Export documentation and compliance

We are GST-registered and hold an Import-Export Code (IEC), so consignments ship in our own name. Velvet and other pile fabrics are classified under HSN 6001; the exact eight-digit sub-heading depends on construction and fibre, and is confirmed on the invoice. Azo-free dyeing is available and should be stated on the purchase order so the lot is run to it. The standard papers are a commercial invoice, packing list, and bill of lading or air waybill, with a certificate of origin arranged where your customs authority asks for one. Additional declarations can be provided on request.

Shipping, packing and payment

Sea consignments go out of Nhava Sheva (JNPT) and air consignments from Mumbai (BOM). Quotations are commonly given EXW, FOB or CIF, whichever suits how you buy. Goods are rolled on cores, wrapped in polythene, and packed into bales or cartons for sea freight; roll length, gross and net weight are listed on the packing list. Payment is usually by T/T or by irrevocable letter of credit, with the split between advance and balance agreed order by order. Shipping marks, roll lengths and carton counts can follow your instructions if you have a warehouse format.

We are a velvet fabric supplier for importers and distributors rather than a trading desk, so weaving, dyeing, finishing and packing are handled in-house for our own lines. For bulk velvet fabric export we hold the approved sample against repeat lots, so a reorder six months later matches the first shipment.
