Shailesh Velvet Industries is the home of Kedarnath Velvet — a family name that has stood for dependable, beautifully finished velvet fabric for close to forty years. We manufacture, wholesale and export a complete range of velvet from our own mills near Mumbai.
The Kedarnath Velvet heritage
The Kedarnath Velvet name has meant dependable velvet for nearly forty years. Run today by the Shorewala family as Shailesh Velvet Industries, we supply traders, garment makers and exporters who reorder season after season. Our office is at 52, Mirza Street, Ground Floor, Mumbai; we sell across India and export worldwide.
Our manufacturing
We are a manufacturer, not a middleman. Weaving, dyeing, the brasso (burnout) process and finishing are done at our own mills in Bhiwandi and Vasai. Controlling the full process keeps pile, shade and finish consistent — from sample to bulk, and across repeat orders.
It also gives us range: brasso, 100% cotton, viscose/rayon (incl. crushed and ombré), knitted 2-way stretch and lycra, micro, flock, fur, foil, sequence and printed velvet — in widths from 42″ to 64″.
Quality & compliance
Velvet is available with azo-free dyes and to export quality. We are GST-registered and an IEC export holder; fabrics fall under HSN 6001 (pile fabrics); our IndiaMART store is TrustSEAL-verified. Export documentation is prepared for overseas orders.
How we work
Most orders start with a sample to approve. We then supply by the than (roll) or the metre, with negotiable minimums for large and small buyers alike. We also do custom colours and prints, ready-for-dyeing (RFD) bases, and OEM / private-label runs.
