Shailesh Velvet Industries is a 100% cotton velvet fabric manufacturer in India, producing pure cotton pile velvet under the Kedarnath Velvet brand. The fabric has a dense, matte pile and a breathable natural hand, woven 48-58 inches wide at 250-320 gsm, in plain and embossed finishes. It is bought by apparel and ethnic-wear makers, upholsterers, dyers, printers, traders and importers.
Finishes and dyeing
We supply cotton velvet in both plain and embossed finishes, in stock shades or custom colours to your reference. Azo-free 100% cotton velvet is one of our established export lines. Sampling and lab-dips are provided before bulk so you can confirm hand-feel, weight and shade.

Do you export cotton velvet?
Yes. We are GST-registered and hold an IEC, and supply overseas buyers alongside customers across India. Export documentation is arranged on request.
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ is negotiable and depends on shade and finish. Stock shades are available in smaller lots; custom colours or embossed designs need higher minimums. Samples are available before you commit to bulk.
What is the difference between plain and embossed cotton velvet?
Plain cotton velvet has a uniform cut pile. Embossed cotton velvet is pressed with heat to set a raised pattern into the pile, without printing. Both use the same 100% cotton base.
Where is the velvet manufactured?
We manufacture at our own units in Bhiwandi and Vasai, near Mumbai. Producing in-house lets us keep pile, finish and shade consistent across repeat orders.
