Fashion & Apparel velvet
Brasso Velvet Fabric Manufacturer in India
Single & multi brasso (burnout) velvet on chiffon base — 50D/80D poly, ideal for scarves, dupattas and festive apparel.
Brasso (burnout) velvet is a devore fabric: a chemical process burns out the pile in a pattern over a sheer chiffon base, leaving velvet motifs on a semi-transparent ground. It uses a 50D or 80D polyester pile, about 44 inches wide, in single (one colour) or multi (multi-colour) versions. Shailesh Velvet Industries (Kedarnath Velvet) is a brasso velvet fabric manufacturer in India supplying saree, dupatta and ethnic-wear makers, traders and exporters.
How brasso velvet is made
A devore paste is printed onto a polyester-pile velvet woven on a chiffon base; it dissolves the pile where applied, leaving sheer zones between solid velvet motifs. Single brasso is one colour, multi brasso several. The fabric is lightweight, roughly 120-160 gsm. We have made brasso velvet near Mumbai for around 40 years and check burn depth and pattern registration before dispatch.

Brasso Velvet — frequently asked questions
What is the difference between single and multi brasso?
Single brasso is burned out and dyed in one colour. Multi brasso is printed in several colours. Both use the same chiffon-base burnout construction.
What base and width is it?
A polyester chiffon base with a 50D or 80D pile, about 44 inches usable width. The 80D gives denser motifs; the 50D drapes lighter.
Do you offer samples, and what is the MOQ?
Yes. Samples are available so you can approve hand, transparency and colour before bulk. Minimum order quantity is negotiable and depends on colour and customisation.
Can you export brasso velvet?
Yes. We ship to overseas buyers, with rolled protective packaging, and classify the fabric under HSN 6001 (pile fabrics) for customs and billing.
